Denouement

Later on it gets exposed that Slate actually murdered Catherine, the beauty queen of the high school, who shows herself as a tyrant. Dakota incites him to frighten her, but instead he murders her.

As I´ve mentioned before I hadn´t guessed him to be the murderer, which makes this book quite good. I hope you enjoy reading it as well!!! All in all it was a good decision to read this book, although to be honest I thought at first s*** another book to read, as I´m as you might know quite busy this autumn!

Her friend Slade helps her with this project, Carly suspects Dakota of the Murder, since Dakota and Catherine had a big conflict, as Catherine said to Griffin Clement, who was Dakota´s friend, that his girlfriend is a real slut and she goes to bed with everybody. What also incriminates her is the fact that the weapon, which is a knife, is the same brand as the knifes in the kitchen of the Jenkins. It takes Carly a few days to figure out allinformation I mentioned above, this gets harder through the fact that Carly is wanted by the police, so she has a costume to be unrecognised by the police.

 

Now I can express my personal opinion on this book. I read this book following many positive reviews I´ve read about it and I can absolutely agree with them. This book is written in a very good style of writing, where the author starts at a current situation and goes back to a past situation, which I really liked quite a lot. Also the plot is highly exciting and has  a sudden turn in the end, I hadn´t expected who was murderer in the end, so it wasn´t boring at all, cause everybody would have expected one person to be the murderer, indeed this person wasn´t it. As mentioned, I can highly recommend reading this book as well as many other books by Todd Strasser. 

 

There was blood on her hands!!!

Carly Carlson is shocked and really upset, as she finds her best friend Catherine murdered in the woods. As she is really upset Carly is a bit overloaded with this situation and takes the weapon in her hands. Suddenly Dakota Jenkins, who is also one of the best friends of Catherine, comes around and accuses Carly of the murder. Quickly the whole crowd which  was at the party appears and takes photos of Carly the murderer of Catherine. Carly flees, since the police is already looking for her. Now she is trying to prove her innocence.

 Now I would like to express my opinion concerning this cheapter, although I really liked this book in the end, I didn´t really know what to think about, I mean if you just read 40 pages you are not able to give objective judgement about a book. So i´d rather like to talk about my opinion on this book later on.
